Bandage Fear
At the end of my 2nd year and the beginning of my 3rd year, we had to carry out an end-of-year project which will be presented to a jury.
We had to create a trailer with a story created by ourselves and the art direction.
That’s why we chose a stylized style that looks more like a video game.
On this project we were three people to work on this.

Synopsis of the trailer
Lana the intrepid young adventurer explores a tomb filled with treasures and mysteries in search of the cursed beetle, guardian of the treasure.
While exploring the tomb, she finds herself trapped inside....

The Environment
For the environment we looked for references from ancient Egypt and references from video games such as: Assassin creed, Lara croft
or Uncharted.
I did some assets : rocks, gravel, torch, walls, statues and sand, and i created some textures. The walls and the door was a hand painted textures
Trevor the partner of the team did the layout of the scene,
the lighting of the scene, the atmosphere and all the VFX ( effect of fire, sand, wind) and he did some asset.
We used Unreal Engine as software ( It is a game engine known in most video games ) and Fluid ninja for the effect.


The character
For the character we look for references like lara croft because we want a strong and agile female character,
we gave him a modern side on his outfit as well as on his haircut.
Laure my partner of the team
Laure ( my crewmate ) took care of the character, she did the modeling, the textures and the
rigging.
All part of the character were made on many software, Zbrush for the modeling
Maya for rigging and animation, Substance painter for texturing.
